SOURCE BEATZ UPDATE: News from Aim2Break Records

Well at the moment I'm at school, just finished some work so I got some free time! :D

Anyways first of all, I want to congratulate James Armstrong (Chim) from Aim2Break Records who is now in an Internship with Slip-N-Slide Records; the home of Trick Daddy, Plies, Rick Ross, Trina etc. So good luck to the future with you and them! Also Messi's mixtape/ep/album produced by us is on hold for what I know?

Source Beatz: We are still making beats, trying to make some new styles, being experimental! A few more videos coming soon too featuring studio work with new artists, producers etc (Thomas Watts of My Lost Obsession is definitely on my wish list lol no homo). Me (Major) got contacted the other day by a singer who wants to make it big, so I'll be busy with her; also Kande's Album project me and 80 are working on. Beats sounding crazy! I'm up for projects, whether it's collabs, production etc, so email me at MajorFreq@SourceBeatzUK.tk and I'll get round with it ASAP (depending on if the misses wants me :P).

Oh and nearly forgot, 'Devil's Studio' (as Willsy calls it) is around 45% complete; just enough to record, produce and bang beats all day :)

MIXTAPE: Iron Kladd Entertainment Presents: New IKE City

Woah, Corey Drumz and his IKE-O-Maniacs are back with this immense mixtape. Ranging from those classic hits from Lee Boogz with the IKE Anthem, and Drumz and Boogz on the classic Dolce Look Girl track.
For those who have never heard of IKE/Iron Kladd Ent. they come straight out of New York. With many years of experience, they're destroying the underground scene, with they're technical, unique, mainstream style. THIS IS DEFINITELY WORTH A DOWNLOAD and also, make sure you check their official community site at www.IronKladd.com

TRACK: Kanye West - Robocop

http://www.zshare.net/audio/512879974f5c6e04/

Something SO different here. The beat knocks nicely with a few hard drums then the melodic guitar and synths which float above the track. I prefer Kanye's singing now. Pretty damn creative! Anyways, this song ain't what you'd expect from Kanye (well since Love Lockdown). Great production though! Worth a download if you're a Kanye fan, into his production etc.

ALSO News:

Kanye West considers a certain ”SexyBack” singer his biggest rival. ”My biggest inspiration and biggest competition is Justin Timberlake,” the 29-year-old rapper tells. ”He’s the only other person that gets an across-the-board response and respect level - black radio, white radio.” What ever color of Radio he's more interested in, you rarely see an artist talk something sensible and respectful about his competition.

**BONUS TRACK**14. Paper Planes Source Beatz Remix (Produced by Source Beatz) - M.I.A

After playing vigorous hours of GTA IV, I came across Thought Inside Out while driving around, I used the 'cell phone ZIT' calling thing to find out the song, then I downloaded it. Apart from the repetition, it's a really hard track. Since then i decided to make this small compilation with a few of my favourite Dance tracks including: House, Trance, Hardcore, Big Beat etc. I've also built this around a new producer from Holland, DJ Triplestar (real name Leandro TJ) who (in my opinion) is becoming a great hardcore, trance, electronic producer.

If you love the sounds of Scooter, Darren Styles, abit of Guru Josh Project and want to 'throw those hands up for Detroit' or whereever you're representing, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU DOWNLOAD THIS, BURN IT AND BUMP IT IN YOUR CARS OR HOUSE PARTY'S!

Also more compilations from many genre's of our favriote tracks will be posted up frequently, also with a 'SONG OF THE WEEK'and the chance to be featured (like DJ Triplestar!) on our site!

14. Death Messiah

To begin with, I heard of Jedi Mind Tricks around 2 years ago when one of my mates designed one of JMT's mixtape covers (Lil Street Designz: thanks for the logo ;) ). The intro to this album is pretty damn hard. Track 2, JMT never fails to impress. His vocal tone and his aw some deliverance is crazy! Deadly Melody has an intimidating feel to it also. Sounds like Immortal Technique should drop on it. Then all of a sudden the chorus. A deep reminiscent, sung hook which catches your brain and flips it!. And WOW just peeped Seance Of Shamans featuring Outerspace and Doap Nixon. This beat knocks so hard! The sample is sensational!. Speaking of features, there are only 4 tracks which include artists such as Block McCloud, Demoz, Outerspace, Doap Nixon and King Magnetic (haven't been deep into underground hip hop since commercial stuff took me over so I've never heard of these guys before apart from OS (haha)). If you're into your hardcore, underground hip hop, I definitely recommend this!

20. Outro

Before listening to this mixtape, straight away the cover catches my attention; replicating the Saw V poster. Anyways back to the music! This mixtape hits so hard! Normally i wouldn't rate Weezy but wow, I've peeped 4 tracks (Put My Money, Pick and Roll, Bullshit and Can I Talk To you) and wow this bangs harder then rowdy rumpers! (haha) Since Wayne's featuring on Fat Joe's Crackhouse track (featured on GTA IV and off Joe's album The Elephant In The Room) I've definitely been getting the gist of Weezy's music and I'm starting to like it. A few of the tracks on this do have a few missing verses and hooks (maybe because these are projects in the making? (Seeming it's called The Leak (lol)) But apart from that the variety on this is great; you got the opening track which is soothing, then after that, it's straight crack! But Bullshit (the track) is starting to catch on me. This is definitely worth the download!

TRACK: Kanye West - Love Lockdown Gov'T Remix feat. Harlems Ca$h

To be exactly honest I wasn't really feeling Kanye's production on the original, but Gov'T deffinatly redifined the 'Lockdown' in this banger. With the use of the vocoder to adlib Kanye's vocals, this really brings the fire to the camp! Harlem Ca$h also lays down one of the sickest verses i've heard in a while! Mentioning Kimbo Slice when he got knocked out in 14 seconds! (lol) This is SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL in my opinion and is deffinatly worth the download!

TRACK: The Game - Camera Phone feat. Ne-Yo (Prod. by Cool & Dre)

http://www.zshare.net/audio/5107839459f42c51/
The Game is back with the soulful sounds of Ne-Yo! Even with Bishop Lamont claiming The Games' a 'girl', he still comes hard with this track. In my opinion since The Games appearance on DJ Khaled's We Global album, he's sounding more like Nas every time. Good thing maybe? Anyways Cool & Dre on the production delivering a smooth beat which kind of reminds me of a 'professional' version of Ginuwine's Pony (produced by Timbaland). Ne-Yo's touch to this track is also impressive as it sets the tone and drags you away from The Game's awesome flow. You HAVE to download this if you're a fan of hip hop!

Was about to record for Aim2Break Records' headman and label-mate Messi's track featuring Representin' (Produced by DJ 80) but all of a sudden, a cold hit me leaving me with quite a blocked nose and a sore throat ( :( lol). So i decided to give a sneak peak or some of the beats I've got coming together :D

TRACK: Justin Timberlake - Magic (Prod. by Stargate)

Justin Timberlake is back with the Norwegian producers, Stargate! This song has a nice original Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen feel which you could sense from their previous tracks with Rihanna and Neyo. But still with a different tone. To begin with I thought this was a Neptunes beat! (My bad!). But still this is a pretty nice track to mellow out to. Definitely worth a download if you're a JT fan!

TRACK: T Pain - I Can't Believe It feat. Justin Timberlake (OFFICIAL REMIX)

Heard this song a while ago and thought it was pretty chilled. But WOW Timberlake really changed the whole mood on this track. His 'Autotuned' voice is the perfect supplement which fuses nicely with T Pain's 'Autotuned' voice. Who says autotuners weren't cool?

SOURCE BEATZ UPDATE: Source Beatz Vs Mario? (Instrumental)

http://www.zshare.net/audio/509845317eaf9a96/
I stumbled across the super mario theme tune today, and i realised how easy it was to sample. I had no choice but to give it a go and try and make a beat out of it. I produced the basic outline and then sent it to Major. He tweaked it and added synths and we got ourselves a DOPE beat.
(DJ 80)

TRACK: Asher Roth - The Reading (Prod. by Nottz)

Asher Roth is back, this time with producer Nottz (credits include: The Game, J Dilla (RIP), Notorious B.I.G (RIP), Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West...the list goes on!). Roth destroys this beat with his Eminem type flow and his incredible arsenal of words. Definitely something to look out for in the future!

VIDEO: T-Pain - Karaoke feat. DJ Khaled

This is a comedy classic! T-Pain murdered the beat! Especially in the third verse, gone a lil' but Twista there! But this beat is so hot! It's smooth but still got a banging touch to it. Does anyone know who produced it? Anyone who does, leave a comment here! And you can't forget Akon on the bongos at the end. CLASSIC!

Also make sure you peep DJ Khaled's new album entitled 'We Global' featuring production from Cool and Dre and The Runners and artists such as The Game, Nas, Trick Daddy, Sean Paul and many more! Click here to purchase from Amazon.com
